University of Alberta Pharmacy Toastmaster Speechcraft

I'm looking for toastmasters to assist in the facilitation of the

University of Alberta Pharmacy Toastmaster Speechcraft program.

This is a four-week course training Pharmacy students in the fine details

of public speaking.  All the presentation materials to run the course are provided.

Each night consists of Table Topics, prepared speeches (by the students)

and an educational presentation. The educational, a mini global evaluation

and being the Toastmaster for the evening are the duties

available to volunteers.

The experience is very rewarding and educational.

GENERAL INFO

The U of A  Pharmacy Toastmaster Speechcraft program has been  running

for over 20 years. The Pharmacy students have to pass this four-week course

plus a Saturday session in order to graduate.

The session starts on Saturday September 11 ^th , 2010 ( 9:00am to 3:00pm )

and continues either on Mondays or Tuesdays or Wednesdays or Thursdays thereafter.

You will get a manual that contains all the material. No research is required for any

of the sessions. A group consists of 3 to 4 toastmasters and 12-14 students.

I will accommodate your preference for the particular week night of your choice,

as much as is possible ( ie Mondays or Tuesdays or Wednesdays or Thursdays) .

* Please Note * The evening sessions run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
